Join us for a virtual walk in the woods!! No tricky trails to navigate  - and No Ticks!

Mushrooms can be abundant or elusive depending on the weather and time of year. We’ll be highlighting some fascinating fungi with pictures and samples - exploring their unique features and fungal functions. Be ready to share your own finds in a discussion of “what was this mushroom in my yard?”

Lin Conover, owner of Wood Song Mushrooms, LLC, first began learning about mushrooms through a deep dive into soil health and composting methods. With an appreciation for the integral role fungus has for our living planet, she began the process of identifying wild species and growing cultivated mushrooms. Wood Song Mushrooms now provides fresh mushrooms and related products, in addition to educational programs, nature/foraging walks and hands-on experiences.
