Dust, Blood and Birds: trekking through Southwest Arizona- From the town of Portal on the New Mexico Border, west to Tucson, and south the Mexican border. Find out why this corner of our country sees more species annually than almost anywhere else in North America. Beat the winter blues and travel with me to Southwest Arizona, one of the birding capitals. This program will be about an hour and a half long including a question and answer period.
My Name is Josh Gant, and I am an environmental educator and the owner and lead guide for Hidden Bittern Birding Co. I also work part time as a naturalist for the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation. I had always been an outdoorsman but birding became my real passion about 10 years ago. Since then I have traveled around the country finding birds and showing people the beauty of nature. I am so glad to be able to share my knowledge with all of you.
