Remember when Lava Laps, bell bottom jeans, and Rubik’s Cubes were all the rage? How about pet rocks and terrariums? Well guess which is making a comeback? Yup, terrariums! A fresh look at terrariums will intrigue your sense of horticulture, science, and design and fill the doldrums of the shadowed spaces of your home.

Come see the latest designs and plants for that special place or someone in your life. There will be an open discussion and demonstration on the basic principles of terrarium design. Materials will be provided to create your own terrarium!

Joseph Alvarez has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a minor in Environmental Science, is a founding member of the Cape May County Beach Plum Association, a member of the state Beekeepers Association and is active in many county and agricultural programs in South Jersey.
