3-week workshop from 10/7 to 10/21.
This is an opportunity to release your inner artist as we create art by exploring the tools and techniques of acrylics. This class emphasizes fun and freedom to develop your own artistic style. We'll paint from a reference photo with the option to bring their own photos.
Materials required:
Canvas or canvas board 9 x 12 or larger. If you prefer to work on mixed media paper, I suggest a board to tape it to
Table easel (optional)
Acrylic paints, can be student grade assortment
Brushes, assorted shapes and sizes, a cheap 2" brush is great for backgrounds
Spray bottle (optional)
A ruler
Water container to rinse brushes (I use a big plastic yogurt container)
Paint rag, paper towels
Smock or apron to protect clothes
Terry Boland is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University a lifelong learner and painter. As an art enthusiast she is member of and exhibitor at the Ocean City Fine Arts League. Terry is also a winning participant in The Cape May County Annual Senior Art Show.
