What is Zentangle®?

Zentangle is a fun, easy, and relaxing method of drawing created by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas. It uses structured patterns, simple tools, and very basic pen-strokes to create beautiful works of art. Anyone can do it!

Join Mimi as she guides us through Zentangle patterns on a gift box-shaped tile using colored pencils and pens. She will then edit together everyone's creations into a tessellating pattern. The finished group piece will be sensational!

All materials are provided! Please pick up your kit within the week leading up to the event.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration opens on Tuesday 11/22 at 9am, and WILL CLOSE 7 days prior to the event on Tuesday 11/29, in order to ensure registrants receive their kit in time.

Mimi is an enthusiastic artist, teacher, and mother of three who is constantly seeking new ways to create and to inspire creativity in others.

Mimi has taught Zentangle workshops for the past 10 years, both in- person and virtually, at numerous libraries, schools, hospitals, clubs and businesses in the New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania area.

She is extremely passionate about teaching art and enjoys seeing students realize their talents in just one class. Every workshop is a pleasure and full of surprises and the final group work never fails to amaze!
