UPDATE (posted 9/21/23): Yoga at SIC on Tuesdays and Fridays will CONTINUE after the scheduled end date of 10/31, with instructor Phyliss Schlegel.

Join us for a gentle flow yoga class that connects breath with movement. Participants will gain strength and flexibility while finding balance and reducing stress.

The class will run every Friday at the Sea Isle City Library, except for the following dates:

  • Tuesday 11/7
  • Friday 11/10
  • Friday 11/24
  • Tuesday 12/26

Another weekly session will be added for Tuesdays, starting on Sept. 5th.

  • There will be no class 10/17.

 

Ms. Phyliss Schlegel, certified yoga teacher (RYT-200) has been teaching at various locations in South Jersey since 2004.  She continues her education with annual classes, reading and learning from her students.  In addition to the classes at the Sea Isle City Library, she also currently teachers at the South Seaville United Methodist Church and the Dennis Township Senior Center.  

A little bit about Tanya Delfini:  I began my yoga journey as a student. After many years of practicing I decided to do a Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 and became a 200hr Certified Yoga Alliance Instructor in 2017. I enjoy bringing yoga to others so that they may feel the many health benefits of yoga. I have taken numerous other trainings and can teach all levels but I seem to have found my niche in the 50+ community. I am certified in senior yoga, chair yoga and have almost completed an additional 300hr certification. I like to make yoga fun and enjoyable for all.
