Read Notation and Play the Recorder - Have you always wanted to know the secret to reading musical notation, rhythms and dynamics markings? Unlocking the secret awaits! The Cape May County Library is offering you the opportunity to experience an effective and enjoyable 6-week series of 1-hour classes designed to introduce the skills needed to successfully read music while learning the recorder; an inexpensive pre-band instrument.

This is a 6-class series being held on Wednesdays, 4pm-5pm at the Court House Library:
All registrants are required to attend the first class of a series. If absent, your spot will be given to the next in line on the Waitlist.
Dr.Hammill, Ed. D, a retired music teacher, public school administrator, church choir and handbell director will guide you through the process. Hammill holds a Glassboro State College BA in vocal/instrumental music with additional graduate credits in conducting, a MA in Communications and a doctorate in Educational Leadership.
