Hello! My name is Joanne Infante, and I am looking forward to bringing the wonderful, relaxing Japanese technique of Kimemoni ornament making to our Library patrons. I am a Mom to Three, Nana to Eight and a former PreSchool teacher. I have been a lifelong crafter and have worked with different forms of crafting mediums, with Fiber Arts always being my favorite. For the past twelve years, I have been making unique ornaments using polystyrene balls and fabric. This has become more than a hobby; it is a passion. The design possibilities are endless and it is an Art that is easily learned.
After moving here to Cape May County in 2017, I wanted to share my love of crafting with the community, and founded the Cape May Crafters. This in-person Social club has members of all ages, with a diverse knowledge of crafting techniques, and meets weekly in Lower Township. I would like to say “Thank you” to the Cape May County Library for allowing me the opportunity to teach this, and I am sure you will find this crafting experience as rewarding as I do. See you all at the classes!
