This workshop is open to college-bound teens and their families. We will seek to identify unintended stressors self-imposed by students and parents as they go through the entire College Admission Decision Making Process from researching colleges/universities, selecting majors for possible future careers, visiting campuses, making the college list, applying for admission, and the final decision where to matriculate. We will discuss:
Richard Freccia was a Secondary School Counselor in Pennsylvania, Virginia, DC, and in New Jersey with the Freehold Regional School District and at Allentown High School in Monmouth County for 23 years before retiring. He is currently an Independent College Counselor and has organized and moderated Professional Development Workshops for the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Associations for College Admission Counseling, the New Jersey School Counselors Association and the Monmouth and Ocean Counties School Counselors Associations. Rich is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of New Jersey. He works freelance for ESPN, CBS Sports Network, The Big Ten Network and Fox Sports on their telecasts of College Football, Basketball, Baseball and Lacrosse as a statistician, spotter, stage manager, and time out coordinator.
