Attendees will need: Water, wear comfortable clothing, up to 5 pound weights, slip proof socks (instructor will provide) or barefoot, yoga mat (if staying additional 15 minutes for Butts and Guts)
Barre Star is a hybrid 45 minute class of low impact muscular endurance exercises. Barre Star class is a combination of ballet, flexibility, yoga/balance and strength training. The beauty of Barre Star is that everyone can partake in this exercise program. Basic ballet moves, yoga poses and strength training exercises will be introduced as the class will focus on the lower body and core, developing strength and flexibility from the ankles to abdominals. A chair will be available and will serve as the ballet bar. An added bonus, Lynne will instruct an additional 15 minutes for Butts and Guts exercises to strengthen and tone core muscles, butt and thighs on the yoga mat for those who choose to stay.
Give it a try, become a Barre Star and walk out of class feeling stronger, toned and savvy.

Lynne Catarro’s Philosophy of a Fitness Instructor - I have the energetic aspiration to teach the ‘Young at Heart.” I care deeply about my class participants. There’s nothing of more value to me than helping somebody go through a positive experience that makes them happy, confident, strong and enthusiastic about a healthy lifestyle. Just taking the time for oneself is a reachable goal and attainable by joining exercise programs. I realize how attending a structured exercise program can affect many aspects of one’s life socially, physically and mentally. It takes motivation, determination, and consistency to succeed and I want to make sure every class participant has that opportunity. I want to help class participants discover the benefits and joys of exercising no matter what class he/she decides to join.
Lynne Catarro is an insured certified Fitness Instructor who started teaching classes in the mid 80’s. She is constantly updating and adding to her fitness portfolio through certifications and trainings and by creating fun playlists, and developing new program routines.
