Join Surfrider Foundation South Jersey Chapter on Saturday, Dec. 3 for a Volunteer Recruitment Event and Chapter Meeting at Cape May County Library – Cape May Court House location!

Meeting Time: 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM in the Storytime room

Mission Statement: The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network.

Interested in getting involved with protecting the local ocean, waves and beaches of South Jersey and New Jersey as well as taking action at the federal level? Join our team! We are holding a volunteer recruitment event in Cape May County prior to holding a winter Core Volunteer Training in 2023.

We have several open volunteer chapter leaderships positions including:

• Chair
• Vice Chair
• Website / Social Media / Media / Communications
• Events - available weekday daytime hours
• Monofilament (Fishing Line) Coordinator and more open volunteer positions and opportunities!
• During the chapter meeting portion of the event, we will be going over local issues, our campaigns, programs, and upcoming events being planned! This is a great way to learn about how you can get involved with our chapter.

All are welcome. Membership is not required to attend. See you there!

Next Event: Bayside Cleanup at 5000 Wellington Avenue in Ventnor on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 10:30 AM. If you are planning to help us setup and lead this event, please arrive at 8:45 AM - 9:00 AM, after signing up for the cleanup on Golden.
