Tai Chi and Qigong exercises are simple and unhurried movements requiring no weights, extra equipment, or special clothing. The movements are art forms that can be performed anywhere, at anytime, to strengthen the body and mind and improve each and every body organ. Special ancient methods, yin and yang, are taught. There are some to relieve stress and tension (yin training), and qi energy methods used for power training (yang training).
Cheryl Crews began practicing Tai Chi in 1998. Since then she has practiced and learned under Mike Curley, Sifu Eddie Wu, and Kenneth S. Cohen. Cheryl was taught the basics of Yang style short form by Stockton College certified instructor Dottie Wilson, and is currently receiving personal training under the guidance of Sifu Chas Fran Farrell.
