Late Summer BBQ Potluck
Join Carolyn as she makes a delicious Florentine pasta salad using “Jersey Fresh” ingredients like spinach, tomatoes, and basil. Then we’ll enjoy Black Bottom cupcakes, a legacy recipe from her husband’s Nana. Both are perfect for taking to a late summer picnic or BBQ.
Registration will open on August 9th at 9am.
Can't make this class? Carolyn will present the same menu at Stone Harbor on Thursday August 2th, 5pm-7pm. More Info: https://events.cmclibrary.org/event/6197933
Carolyn Vinci has written food columns for a Gannet newspaper, taught cooking to children and adults and founded an animal advocacy organization. She retired after 32 years of working with the developmentally disabled and is enjoying gardening, attempting to play the violin and of course cooking! While finding healthy and tasty new ways to prepare food is fun, honoring traditions is important at the Vinci table. Carolyn is excited to bring her ideas to the classroom and will review safety tips, prep techniques and food storage ideas in addition to demonstrating tasty, healthy and easy recipes. She looks forward to sharing with and learning from her classes.
