Each Meditation Hour is an engaging experience, leading to a singular outcome: transforming you.
Participants will be guided through progressive relaxation and guided imagery, to invoke mental images that promote the exploration of your inner voice, your intuition, your inner wisdom. Class will end in silence, for journaling and/or contemplation.
This style of meditation can be used as a tool to promote healing or provoke insight, as well as bringing a serene calm to your entire body. Topics covered will vary from overcoming fears, (e.g. the fear of flying) to promoting healthy contemplation around a specific topic, to inspiring creativity, and overcoming mental and emotional roadblocks.
These sessions, led by a trained meditation guide, can enable those who have a hard time quieting their mind, to focus on the guidance of the teacher.
Requirements: Open mind; Curiosity; Desire to explore your inner voice of wisdom.
Optional: Journal and writing instrument; Blanket; Non-weighted eye covering.
Christine Kortze is a passionate, accomplished yoga, meditation, and craft facilitator.
She incorporated yoga into her life in 1993, to help her find mental, physical, and spiritual balance after suffering a tragic loss. From there the bond grew, and Christine studied various styles of yoga. In 2005, she felt it was time to share her passion and knowledge, as well as the endless benefits of yoga with others. Christine opened Shangri-La Yoga Studio in PA, and instructed yoga, guided meditations, as well as arts & crafts workshops before moving to NJ.
Christine finds bliss in guiding her students through the mystical journey that stillness and creative energy combined, can deliver. She feels blessed to share this with her students, as they meet their mental, physical, and spiritual balance, on and off the mat.
